The posh iPic Hudson Lights theater opened at Fort Lee, New Jersey in August of last year. It is the first dine-in theater in New Jersey, elevating everyday moviegoing to a luxury experience.
The seats are recliners with leather upholstery and privacy barriers.
Patrons don’t need to queue for refreshments. Instead, iPic’s “ninja waiters” are specially trained to tiptoe around dark film theaters and serve gourmet meals right at the film viewers’ seats.
More luxurious touches
The cinema’s on-site restaurant, City Perch Kitchen + Bar, prepares delicious finger food and artisanal cocktails. Award-winning Chef Sherry Yard developed the menu, which consists of pulled pork sandwich, Caesar salad, and fried chicken.
The bar at City Perch serves New Jersey beer and liquor. Corporate sommelier and executive bartender Adam R. Seger is in charge.
There are eight auditoriums, with a total of 580 seats. Premium seats come with pillows and blankets. The theater also features granite bathrooms, plush carpeting, and front row couches.
And the best part? No lining up for tickets. Buy tickets and food anytime, anywhere through this amazing app. Choose between Premium and Premium Plus tickets – the former comes with table service, while the latter brings you closer to the silver screen.
Sign up for Sapphire, Gold, or Platinum Membership for discounts, freebies, access to special events, and other perks.
Parking is available across the street from the cinema.
The luxury theater chain was founded a decade ago by Hamid Hashemi, who currently serves as CEO. The iPic at Hudson Lights is the 14th of its kind in the United States.
